MITYANA - The Police in Mityana are holding four people suspected to be fake traditional healers. The suspects were held from Kabuwambo village, in Busimbi Sub county Mityana district.
The arrest follows a complaint from residents of Kabuwambo, who have been seeing hundreds of people gathering at a place called Kabira.
The residents alleged that two of the suspects were involved in criminal offenses like rape and defilement, but the cases were not being reported to police.
Kabira is a small forest where hundreds of people have been gathering since last year claiming to be worshiping.

On Friday evening, the Mityana police said they had received complaints from the residents that some of the worshipers and their leaders were committing criminal offences, and the victims would not report.
Led by the officer in charge of Wabigalo police station Samuel Tugumisiriza, the Police arrested four people.
The suspects include Bosco Mpoza and Abudul Nassif Kkungu residents of Luwero, and Nassali Kivunze and Josephine Namwana residents of Kampala.
The four had lived at this place for over four months. Leonard Lwanga, one of the leaders of the traditional healers in Mityana district said they had earlier recommended to the security operatives that the worshipers should be sent away from this place.
Lwanga said he had received several complaints from some of the worshipers about the four suspects and he reported to police.
The suspects are held at Mityana police station.
