Maurice Kirya: Don't wanna cry

It’s making quite a bit of a fuss, both online (YouTube registered 300 hits two weeks after the video was loaded) and on television, with Channel O, MTV Base and a host of other regional TV stations wearing out the DVD on which the darned thing was recorded as they play the video over and over and over…

Shot in South Africa, it certainly ups the stakes as far as Ugandan videos are concerned and is once more, a gentle reminder to Jose Chameleon that seriously, a decent video goes a long way, old chap.

(Hint, hint, Jose!) Great concept, great stuff and like Navio’s video for the song One and Only you wince at the very idea of how much it cost to put together.

Thanks to these two, we really have two of the best videos on the continent at the moment…
