I love him but can't raise another woman's child

I have been with my boyfriend for four years. Although we love each other, we have had our differences and sometimes broken up as a result of them. We always eventually reconcile.

I have been with my boyfriend for four years. Although we love each other, we have had our differences and sometimes broken up as a result of them. We always eventually reconcile.

However, he never initiates communication, so I endeavour to call and send him text messages, which he never replies.

Last year, I met a charming gentleman at my workplace. We connected instantly and when he asked me on a date, I did not turn down the offer.

My workmate turned out to be more loving than my boyfriend. Recently, my boyfriend found out that I was having a romantic affair with my workmate and was so furious that he beat me up. I was forced to call off my relationship with Mr. Charming.

During the subsequent weeks, my boyfriend revealed to me that he has a child with one of his former girlfriends. He says he got the news three months ago. He now wants to marry me so I can take care of his daughter.

He says he loves me and wants to raise his family with me, not the mother of his daughter. I love my boyfriend, but it would be difficult for me to raise another woman’s child when I don’t have my own. What should I do?
