The new speaker of the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA), Margaret Nantongo Zziwa, has vowed to work towards a monetary union and a political federation for the region.

The new speaker of the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA), Margaret Nantongo Zziwa, has vowed to work towards a monetary union and a political federation for the region.

She stressed the need for citizens to meet their aspirations in the common market protocol and smoothening the path for the monetary union and the political federation.
