Kabaka Mutebi's 57th birthday Cup at Nakivubo

SC Villa winger Muwada Mawejje and Express defender Bob Kasozi are expected to spearhead Mamba Gabunga as they take on Buruuli in the Kabaka Birthday Cup at Nakivubo today.

The match that kicks off at 4.30pm pits Mmamba, the Bika champions against the Masaza Cup holders. It is organised by the Buganda sports ministry to commemorate Kabaka Ronald Mutebi’s 57th birthday.

Mawejje and Kasozi were at the centre of Mmamba’s victory in the Bika football competition last year.

Meddie Kimera who captained Buruuli to a 2-0 victory over Bulemezi in the Masaza Cup final will be at the heart of his side’s defence.

The Kabaka himself is expected to grace the match.
