'Women ran away, saying my sexual prowess is too much for them'

I am 52 years old. I am a Ugandan, although I have lived in Norway for over 30 years, where I practice general medicine in my clinic. My home town is Mbale.

I have had six women and they have all disappointed me.

In 1997, I fell for a Russian woman, Gerina. She had two children, whom I took on. She was previously married to a Musoga man who had abandoned her. She had been living in Jinja for about nine years. She and I flew back to Norway and I thought all was well. Unfortunately, after three months, she started misbehaving and abusing me. I realised that all she wanted was to get out of Uganda. She asked to live on her own with her two children. When I let her go, I was told she went into prostitution. It was so traumatising that it took me five years to try out another marriage.

 

In 2002, a pastor in Uganda found me a lady, Shamim Rele. We got married in Uganda and then left for Norway. She turned out to be abusive, jealous, hot tempered and disrespectful. I was patient, but she did not change her manners. After eight years, I let her go. I had three children with her. 

 

I then found a beautiful Congolese lady, Monica Valk. I loved her, but I was still married to Shamim. In Norway, the law requires a couple to wait for two years after separation to divorce. Sadly, Monica could not wait that long for me to divorce Shamim and she left me. It was so traumatising.

 

I then turned to the Internet. I got a Chinese lady, Truong Kim Xuyes, living in Vietnam. I sent her an air ticket from Vietnam to Uganda and we got married. She stayed here for one month and later came to Norway. She became so demanding. When I objected, she left me for a Chinese man.

 

I then got another woman, Shamira Ferus. She was pregnant, but I loved her. I brought her to see my house and then took her to Muyenga, where she stayed. I gave her my phone number, but she cut all communication. 

 

When she gave birth, she gave me a call, saying her husband had abandoned her and wanted to reunite with me. I took her in, but her step-mother expected a lot of money from me. When that did not happen, she asked her to leave me.

 

Three years ago, I met Natasha Mugave, a singer with a band at Grand Imperial Hotel in Kampala. When I asked her out, she refused. The next time I went there, I pulled out a wad of cash and she softened.

 

I found her sensitive and reacting strongly to trivial matters. However, because of love, I went ahead and organised an introduction ceremony, but her attitude did not change. About four weeks ago, she ran away and told her relatives that she had left me. 

 

It could not have been that. She is the one with a problem. One night, I was shocked when she told me she did not want to reach orgasm. All she wanted was for me to finish what I was doing and let her sleep. I wondered what kind of woman never wanted to reach orgasm. 

 

So, that is the kind of sex she was used to. Often, when I tried to touch her, she got irritated. So, that is perhaps why she made that statement.

 

They did not complain about me, they were actually happy, save for the Chinese who thought my sexual prowess was too much for her.

 

Yes, while some people go for 10 minutes and are tired, I can go on for up to one-and-a-half hours. I do it according to what a woman can handle. I am not violent; I cannot do anything without the woman’s consent.

 

No way. I cannot get tired of women. I will continue looking around.

 

I love half-castes; my women have been mostly half-castes, apart from the Natasha, who was completely Ugandan. I thought she was really beautiful and that is why I fell in love with her. She is the only black woman I have ever loved and I hope she comes back to me.

Yes they are, but I respect the ring I have on my finger. I am trying to work things out with Natasha.

 

For me, it was marriage at first sight. We get married before I really knew who they were. By the time I realised their true colours, we were married. I have learnt my lesson and this time round, if I find another woman, I will first study her for at least a year and then decide on whether or not she is the right person for me.
