UMAR Hitmana will be back in the Uganda Super League for KCC but team captain Richard Malinga will miss his first league game so far this season when the Lugogo side hosts BIDCO at Wankulukuku on Thursday.

Israel Emuge also returns to the lineup after a failed shot at a professional career in Sudan last year and he is expected to partner Hitmana, who assumes Malinga's role at the central defense.

But KCC top scorer Michael Birungi will miss the encounter after failing to train with the team since Tuesday.

Striker Siraje Turyamuhebwa had to pass a late fitness test and will spearhead the attack alongside Andrew Ssekayombya as Brian Majwega continues to sit out after the burn he suffered few weeks ago.

Turyamuhebwa had picked a knock while the team played a friendly against Police FC and coach Morley Byekwaso had ruled him out of today's game but later on said the club physiotherapists had cleared the striker to play.

KCC, who have won three consecutive matches, will carry along the 3-0 victory over Simba in the latest match and Byekwaso is keen to maintain the pace for a respectable final position on the super league table.

"We are not chasing for the trophy but I think it will be another good day for us. My target is to finish in a good position at the end of the season and we are doing well at the moment," Byekwaso said yesterday.

In contrast, BIDCO will be carrying a 3-0 defeat to Bunwamwaya, who play Victors FC tomorrow.

Uganda Super League moved the game that was originally scheduled for Friday to Thursday and the Saturday matches for Friday to allow URA FC's CAF host Mali's Djoliba in the Champions League encounter on Saturday.
