Students of St. Peters Nkokonjeru are part of wide range of schools that are benefiting from learning through tech-savvy exposure.

Under the project that was initiated last year by Multichoice a total of US$20,000 has been injected for a resource center, inclusive of cost of equipment, installation, training as well as human resource.

10 schools were identified in partnership with Ministry of Education and Sports and St Peters Nkokonjero was one of them.

One of the students Peter Walimbwa, Senior three said that his school has benefited from the resource center and many students have used the center for learning and revision especially after classes.

“We have benefited as school where by many students are using this resource center to acquire more knowledge apart from the one we teach them in classes, “He said.

A team  led by the Tina Wamala,  visited the school to evaluate the impact of the initiative on teachers and students learning abilities.

Looking at the fast moving technology today this project is aimed at equipping students with innovative and tech-savvy exposure to their learning environment.

The Public Relations manager, Tina Wamala said “we are delighted to be able to extend a giving hand to St Peter’s Secondary School with television resources, HD PVR decoders and educational channels as a means to enhance teaching and learning patterns,”

With aid from the Ministry of Education and Sports, this project has run smoothly,” Wamala said.
