BENJAMIN Musoke will assume the mantle to ensure Tornado keeps winning, and secure their first cricket league title in three years.

Tornado, who was a dominant force, has not won anything since 2009 with Destroyers and then Premier dominating the local cricket scene.

The experienced batsman takes over captainship in the absence of all-rounder Frank Nsubuga- currently in South Africa for a semi-professional stint as the national T-20 Cricket league continues on Sunday.

With two wins out of two encounters like Partidar, Tornado B will need to win its two games against JACC and Rounders, who have not faired well in Group A of the action.

The top four clubs in each club advance to the quarterfinals action.

Musoke will be banking on his batsmen Abubaker Seguya, who has scored a total 133 runs in the two outing, with last week’s 94 runs and is topping the batting scores for the tournament, together with Irishad Suleman.

He will also have Patel Dhaval, Mark Taremwa and Steven Kahuma in his bowling charge as they seek for the ten points, which will put them in command of the table, as they seek for a better outing.

Currently, Challengers is topping the table with 20 points from six matches. They have so far lost two encounters.

In Group B, Nile will be looking at flowing past SVPC and Tornado B so that they squeeze into the top four. Currently, Nile is in fifth position with five points. They have won one of the two encounters.
