CRESTANKS, makers of water and sanitation products in East Africa, has reduced prices by 15% on a number of its products.

Dina Karan, the chief executive officer, said the move was aimed at allowing farmers acquire tanks and irrigation sprinklers to support the Government’s irrigation initiative.

“With the climate changing, relying on rainfall is no longer advisable.

“We want farmers to irrigate their crops to ensure sustainable crop production and income.”

Karan said the move was also in line with the company’s vision aimed at enriching peoples’ lives to enable every household to access clean water and practice safe sanitation.

“We are guided by the desire to provide communities in the region with better solutions for their water and sanitation needs,” he said.
