BUNAMWAYA failed to go top of the Uganda Super League table after being held to a goalless draw by KCC in yesterday’s action at Nakivubo. It was KCC’s sixth draw in seven league games.

Hoima FC’s Bosco Kagaba and Peter Lomoro struck to cancel out CRO’s Hassan Kange’s second minute effort as the western side moved out of the relegation zone. In Arua, hosts Arua Central were 2-1 winners over Kinyara FC in the other league match.

With Express losing to URA over the weekend, Bunamwaya needed a win with at least a 3-goal margin to claim top spot. But strikers Yuda Mugalu, Ronald Muganga and Caesar Okhuti blew the chance, leaving their side rooted in second position, two points behind table leaders Express.

In today’s action, former Cup winners Victors FC, now in the drop zone, visit wounded Express at Wankulukuku.

Despite taking on the services of coach George Nsimbe, Victors are still battling for their first win after four matches, while the Red Eagles are still smarting from their first defeat in eight league matches.
