Hospice grabs sh888,000 in bank promo

STANDARD Chartered Bank held its third draw of the <i>Yoola Omudidi </i>promotion in Mbarara on Friday. The draw, which took place in Mbarara town at the standard chartered bank offices, saw Moses Kasaka, a business man, walk away with a 42-inch plasma television.

STANDARD Chartered Bank held its third draw of the Yoola Omudidi promotion in Mbarara on Friday.

The draw, which took place in Mbarara town at the standard chartered bank offices, saw Moses Kasaka, a business man, walk away with a 42-inch plasma television.

Wu Davin and Lutaya Yosan were two other lucky customers who won fully connected black berry phones while Solomon Sentongo and DL Properties each won a fully connected DStv dish with a decoder and one month subscription.

Three others customers walked away with internet - connected laptops from broadband company. They were Eva Kalyera, Kenneth Kayonga and Francis Kayenga.

The draw also coincided with the regional draw (the cash-dash promotion) for Mbarara customers.

Hospice Mbarara was given the chance to enter the vault and managed to grab sh888,000.

The grand draw will be held in Kampala in March and a lucky customer will win a new Toyota Land Cruiser.
Herman Kasekende, the head of customer banking, said the bank is committed to providing products and solutions to customers within its chosen segments and offering security for funds.

Wilberforce Yaguma, the Mbarara LC5 chairman, commended the bank for their social responsibility and the initiation of the savings drive, which he said was supplementing the Government’s effort to fight poverty.
