KAMPALA - President Yoweri Museveni has received a special message from the Amir, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the President of Kuwait. The message was delivered on Monday by the counselor of the Amir, Mohammad Abuhasan. State House reported that Museveni and his guest discussed bilateral co-operation, investments and development projects.
UPDF rescues six children
KAMPALA - The UPDF has rescued and handed over to the Southern Sudanese government, six children abducted by the Lord’s Resistance Rebels between 2008 and 2009.
The children aged between 12 and 14 years were handed over to Michael Bodie, the executive director of Nzara county in the Southern Sudanese Equatoria State, on February 6.
