Titanic (1997)
WE all know James Cameron is great, but I must say, Titanic is his greatest. The motion picture is a love romance of all time. Jack Dawson [Leonardo DiCaprio] wins a third class ticket to board the Titanic.

He spots the beautiful, Rose — Kate Winslet [fiancée to a rich snob Cal Hockley] up her way to the aft deck to commit suicide. Jack rescues her. Cal invites Jack to dine at their first-class table; here he suffers through the slights of his snobbish hosts.

In return, he spirits Rose off to third class for an evening of dancing, giving her the time of her life. Cal finds out and has Jack locked away.

Soon after wards, the ship hits an iceberg and Rose must find Jack while both must run from Cal even as the ship sinks deeper into the freezing water.

Here is what is going to make you cry — the scene when Jack encourages his Rose to survive. ‘You must promise me that you’ll survive.

That you won’t give up, no matter what happens, no matter how hopeless. Promise me now, Rose, and never let go of that promise…never let go.’ And then dies.

Several years pass, and, when they meet again, their passion is rekindled, forcing Allie to choose between her soulmate and class order. The picture is directed by Nick Cassavetes.

Sleepless in Seattle (1993)
Sam Baldwin [Tom Hanks] though a lonely widower is a good father. When one night his son Jonah calls a late-night radio talk show seeking a cure for his father’s misery, Sam hesitantly takes the phone. In his tale, he proves to be a deeply feeling gentleman.

His plight profoundly moves the programmers female listeners and thousands of women write in to help solve his insomnia. In these is recently betrothed Annie Reed [Meg Ryan].

Annie is afraid her looming marriage promises comfort but no excitement. Although she is to be shipping her bags to her future in-laws, she knows she has fallen for Sam. Destiny has to take control.

You will not only be sensual on Valentines, if you watch this Nora Ephron movie, but you also will laugh.
