The Police in Old Kampala recently rescued a boda boda cyclist from a mob. The mob suspected him of being part of the gang that uses metallic bars to attack the cyclists. This was after Musa Majid, 23, a boda boda rider at African Child Stage in Mbuya, Nakawa division, was found with a metallic bar. The Kampala metropolitan regional Police commander, Andrew Sorowen, said Majid was arrested at Old Kampala by fellow cyclists. Sorowen, who applauded the riders for being security conscious, said Majid would be charged with being in possession of a weapon.
