The squad that started non-residential training at Lugogo yesterday includes former Olympian Ronald Serugo.

Serugo who took part in the Beijing Games is one of only two experienced box¬ers in the Bombers team.

The other is bantam weight Atanus Mugerwa, who is returning after two years. Mugerwa was banned after failing to make the weight during the Algeria All Africa Games.

The team will be handled by a team of three coaches; Charles Lubulwa, Hussein Khelil and Mohamed Hassan.
UABF vice president technical Patrick Lihanda said the team was called early in order to give adequate preparation to the youngsters.
