OLD Kampala SS whipped Kampala SS 11-0 to keep their hopes of qualifying for the COPA Post Primary Schools soccer championship in Masaka alive.

OLD Kampala SS whipped Kampala SS 11-0 to keep their hopes of qualifying for the COPA Post Primary Schools soccer championship in Masaka alive.

Fauswa Nsubuga netted four times, Ayub Rajab had a hat-trick, while Denis Guma and Kamada Lubega added two goals each to give the former champions an easy home victory on Tuesday.

In Kawempe, Gadafi SS hammered Gayaza Boys 7-0 while Broadway College settled for a 1-1 draw with Kawempe Muslim.

In Rubaga, Uganda Martyrs were 2-0 victors over Bright Angels.
Action continues tomorrow with Kawempe Muslim hosting Gadafi, Kyambogo College face Kalinaabiri while Lubiri SS play Uganda Martyrs in games that are likely to determine who qualifies in Kampala’s three divisions.

The COPA post Primary Schools soccer championship is set for April 24-May 8 at St. Henry’s senior secondary school Kitovu in Masaka.
