MUKONO - Two people on Friday drowned in a flooded roadside channel at Namagunga on the Kampala-Jinja highway. The Police identified the two as Andama Musisi, 10, a P.2 pupil at Mustard Seed Primary School, and Shabani Mzee, a resident of Lugazi town council. Musisi drowned while swimming in the channel, while Shabani drowned as he searched for Musisi’s body.
‘Let children learn music’
MITYANA - Parents have been urged to allow their children to participate in music, dance and drama so that they develop their talents. Buganda youth council chairperson Joseph Kawuki said this would help children to excel in other fields. He was on Sunday speaking at Mumsa High School’s celebration for their excellence in last year’s examinations.
