AS an SC Villa player, Alex Isabirye was one of those who regularly tormented URA. The former striker, who recently took over as URA coach, believes the time has come for him to reverse the fortunes.

Villa has won a massive nine of the two sides’ 16 super league encounters while the tax collectors have only two wins to show.

“It’s time the scales were tipped in URA’s favour,” vowed Isabirye, who believes his troops are set to secure their third win over the Jogoos.

Henry Kisekka, a key scorer in the 2008 encounters, will like Isabirye this time plot his former team’s defeat. Isabirye’s attack will today be revolving around Kisekka and midfielder Augustine Nsumba. A win will help Isabirye also keep table leaders Bunamwaya within touching distance.

But URA, who drew 0-0 with Villa in the first round, will have to do without influential midfielder Mike Sserumaga, who is down with malaria.

Both league encounters of the teams last season ended in goal-less draws. Villa however has better memories of the 2008 season where they registered 2-1 and 4-0 victories.

In Masindi, a mouth watering Bunyoro derby between Kinyara and Hoima FC awaits spectators. Elsewhere Victors will be hosting Masaka.

In the league action yesterday, Ceaser Okhuti was again unstoppable firing a 58th minute crucial winner for Bunamwaya as they strode closer to the Uganda Super League title. The Wakiso side stretched its lead to four points.

At Nakivubo, KCC were ambushed by Mujib Kasule’s Nalubaale. Kasule, a former KCC player and official, saw Patrick Edema pay back his side’s first round defeat by the Lugogo club.

Not even Baker Mbowa, a Nalubaale coach on loan to KCC, could change the tide for the yellow boys whose lead strikers Bruno Olobo and Martin Muwanga fluffed several chances.
