URA battle Ssimbwa in CECAFA opener

UGANDA Super League champions URA FC will open their campaign in the CECAFA/Kagame Club championship in Rwanda on May 18. The taxmen will be taking on Kenyan champions Sofapaka in a Group C match at Amahoro Stadium.

Group B: Rayon, St. George, Heartland, Mafunzo Group C: Atraco, Simba, URA, Sofapaka
UGANDA Super League champions URA FC will open their campaign in the CECAFA/Kagame Club championship in Rwanda on May 18. The taxmen will be taking on Kenyan champions Sofapaka in a Group C match at Amahoro Stadium.
Sofapaka is handled by Uganda Cranes assistant coach Sam Ssimbwa.
According to the fixtures released by CECAFA secretary-general Nicholas Musonye in Nairobi yesterday, URA will take on defending champions, Attraco of Rwanda in their second group stage match on May 21.
Atraco is under another Ugandan Sam Timbe.
URA will wind up their preliminaries against Tanzania’s Simba SC on May 23 at Nyamirambo Stadium. Simba will at the same time be playing against Atraco at Amahoro Stadium.
