BUVUMA district woman councillor for Busamuzi and Bwema sub-counties, Jennifer Nantume has requested the transport ministry to re-schedule the operation of the Kiyindi-Kirongo ferry to landing sites in Buganya and Nairambi sub-counties.

She said because of lack of transport to ferry road construction units on the islands, their roads have remained in a poor state.
