THE Kakungulu Cup quarter-final draws were made yesterday with a likely semi-final clash between Uganda Super League leaders Bunamwaya and Express FC.

THE Kakungulu Cup quarter-final draws were made yesterday with a likely semi-final clash between Uganda Super League leaders Bunamwaya and Express FC, James Bakama reports.

The schedule released by FUFA competitions committee secretary Moses Magogo has Bunamwaya battling against Simba in the first quarter-final.

The winner between the Express versus Buganda Royal Institute match faces Police while Victors will play Kinyara as Masaka takes on Gulu United.

The semi-finals will have the Bunamwaya versus Simba winner playing the triumphant side from the matches involving former holders Express and Police.

The winner from the Masaka versus Gulu match will take on either Victors or Kinyara.

The semi-finals will be played over two legs. The final is set for July 17. The Kakungulu Cup winner will represent Uganda in the Orange CAF Confederation Cup for the 2010/11 season.

Villa, who beat URA to win the 2009 title, were ejected by Nalubaale in their opening match.
