Eastern out raced Western’s target of 63 runs to win by seven wickets in yesterday’s other game at Kyambogo.
The tournament is aimed at identifying players for the national team to compete in the U-19 World Cup qualifiers due August in Namibia.
The day’s revelation was Shimoni Demonstration School’s Abdallah Isaac, who hit a game-high 48 runs for Central.
