Ndejje promise to punish Warriors

BY their coach’s admission, the Kyambogo Warriors have been playing “crap basketball”. Gad Eteu is therefore likely to caution his players against carrying their new brand of the game into tonight’s MTN-FUBA men’s top-flight fixture against the Ndejje Angels.

Walker Obedi’s side have not been in action since their season-opening match against the Nkumba Marines, almost a month ago. But as their victory showed, the Angels can be dangerous customers.

The Warriors – far stronger on paper than Ndejje – have won their last four encounters in the men’s top-flight but Eteu has not shied away from admitting they have not done it with the expected verve.

Eteu partly attributed his team’s unimpressive start to their status of defending champions. He said every opponent raises their level against the Warriors.

Sadly for the tidy coach, it is not about to get any different, and they are about to lose, according to Ndejje’s Obedi.
