A total of 156 primary school teachers have declined to report to remote places they were posted to over three months ago.
A total of 156 primary school teachers have declined to report to remote places they were posted to over three months ago.
During a meeting with over 200 primary school headteachers at Hindocha Primary School on Tuesday, the district chief administrative officer, Luke Lokuda Lokwi, said the district departmental heads would soon meet to decide on the teachers’ fate.
He said the teachers had violated their professional code of conduct. Over 458 teachers were earlier this year transferred by the district education department to improve the academic standards in the district.
