THE race to qualifty for the national ‘sink the black’ pool championship finals enters the second week with action in Arua, Lira, Gulu and Kitgum.

THE race to qualifty for the national ‘sink the black’ pool championship finals enters the second week with action in Arua, Lira, Gulu and Kitgum.

Last weekend, 12 players from the Eastern region stormed the finals set for Kampala in September.

Over 120 players will compete at Kamure park in Arua, at Hawai club in Lira today before actions shifts to Buganda pub in Gulu and Metropole club in Kitgum tomorrow

A total of 28 seeded players, exempted from the qualifiers, will join the finals.
The annual tournament has attracted over 1000 players countrywide.

The overall winner will walk away with sh2m.

The Uganda Pool Association event will also have the other top players earning cash.

Action will shift to Masindi, Hoima, Kasese and Fort-Portal next weekend.
