WHO said jewellery is only for women? Many men accentuate their looks with jewellery, commonly referred to as bling. Men’s jewellery mainly comprises watches, bracelets and necklaces.

The common colours are black, silver, copper, brown and gray. Some men like custom-designed beaded jewellery because it looks sophisticated and unique. When buying men’s jewellery, there are a few things one needs to look out for:

If you wear a suit to work or to a formal function, a modern diamond, gold or platinum bracelet is ideal. Jewellery, be it a bracelet, watch or ring can transform an outfit from ordinary boring to modern sleek.

Men’s diamonds are usually round, pear and oval-shaped. Originality, craftsmanship as well as price can be used to gauge quality of jewellery.

Stainless steel jewellery exudes confidence, while chunky and bold designs reflect masculinity and attitude. Men’s jewellery is tough, low maintenance and long lasting. It also blends well with a leather jacket and denim jeans.

The bold ring
Rings are available in a variety of shapes and sizes to fit diverse fashion preferences. Many people prefer to wear them on the fourth finger although it is not mandatory. Men’s rings look heavier and bolder than women’s. Inscribed, hand-engraved rings add a new dimension to a man’s look. A short piece of poetry or one’s name engraved on a ring gives jewellery originality.

Copper jewellery
Many men wear copper jewellery due to its affordability, uniqueness and sleekness. Copper jewellery like bracelets and cuffs can be used as alternative medicine to raise one’s energy level and offer pain relief.
