RALLYING - Security and safety of drivers and fans will be strongly emphasised at the FMU-UMOSPOC organised National Challenge Rally due August 7-8 in Mukono.
The 300km rally, which is the 4th round of the national championship, will roll off with a super special stage. According to George Kagimu, president of the motor sport governing body FMU, police and anti terrorism personnel will take charge of security.

SOCCER - Isma Segawa scored a brace to give his Nkima clan to a omfortable lead against Ngo in the first leg of the second round of the Bika soccer tournament at Nakivubo yesterday. Andy Ssali had opened the scoring for Nkima. Isma Kintu gave Ngo their lone goal.

UAM climaxes

SOCCER - The United Against Malaria U–13 championship, organised by Friends Of Football will climax on Saturday in Mbarara with the crowning of the champion. FOF spokesperson David Katabira revealed that teams will come from the five regions of the country. All teams arrive on Friday. Iganga will represent Nile region, Sironko for Elgon, Bunyoro Kitara by Kabaale, Central by Kampala Central and Western by Ntungamo.
