KYAMBOGO Warriors coach Gad Eteu expects a stiff challenge when his team continues a crucial spell of basketball fixtures with a match-up against the Ndejje Angels today at YMCA.

The Warriors are fresh off an impressive 79-70 victory over major rivals and FUBA men’s division one leaders Power but Eteu says his troops will not take the Angels lightly even if they theoretically look weaker opposition. “Ndejje is going to give us a difficult game, believe me,” said Eteu.

Walker Obedi’s Angels have secured survival in the top-flight for their second straight season and since they are not in the running for the playoffs, may be short on the motivation needed to shock the defending champions.

It is the Miracle Eagles, whom Kyambogo face on Sunday, who are seen as the real threat, especially because they want what the Warriors want – the fourth and final playoff ticket.

However, Eteu insists his players will be focused on one opponent today and it will not be Miracle.
