KAMPALA City woke up to thunderous sound of Vuvuzelas yesterday as over 1, 000 Cranes fans in 16 buses continued streaming to Nairobi for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier match between Kenya’s Harambe Stars and Uganda Cranes at Nyayo Stadium today.

Meanwhile Kenya immigration
officials at the Malaba border yesterday reported high turnover of Ugandans crossing into Kenya.

Over 100 Ugandans and over 30 personal cars had been cleared by 11 am. They were expecting over 20 buses.

Uganda is bidding to end its 34–year absence from the continental premier championship, Africa Cup of Nations and a win against Kenya will be a major boost to passing the hurdle

Uganda made a flying start to its campaign by defeating fancied Angola 3-0 at Mandela National Stadium, in Namboole.
