While the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is aware of some inconveniences to passengers, their security cannot be compromised.

For the safety of all passengers travelling through Entebbe, the current situation demands that more stringent measures are put in place to safeguard lives and property.

In this regard, interim efforts to ease the movement of passengers and their baggage from the car park to the terminal building have since been put in place.

Uniformed personnel are positioned at the car park to assist passengers with heavy bags up to departure lounge at no cost.

There is also a signpost to guide on alternative routes from the car park to the departure level where disabled passengers are permitted to be dropped.

CAA assures the public that in liaison with all stakeholders, including security and other airport users, more is being done to ensure a hassle-free experience while travelling through Entebbe. Departing passengers are reminded to always be at the airport at least two hours before departure time.
