CHARGING Rhino were in line with their season’s goal when they thrashed Rubaga based-MBC Rocks 85-50 in the second division play-off game at YMCA on Thursday evening.

“We put them under pressure and played great offense which helped us to win the game,” said Rhino Coach John Omondi.

Rhino’s Walter Omony and Rasheed Male dropped 18 and 16 points respectively while Rocks’ Enoch Munyangwa and Nicholas Nabugo scored 10 points apiece.

In the third division encounter, UCU JV won game one of their play-off encounter defeating Kings 74-69 with Patrick Habyaremye scoring 18 points as Marvin Mugisha added 15.

In today’s encounter the Gulu Hawks will be looking to equalize the series after they lost game one to the Heaters. For a game that went to overtime, the Heaters know better that they have to win game two to be in the finals this year. Crane High will take on Stormers in game two.
