A star-studded team sheet has shown intent of Kenya’s resolve to capture victory in the third leg of the Central African Motocross Challenge at the newly constructed Uganda Motorsport Arena at Busiika this Sunday.

With Kenyan MX1 champion Shivam Vinayak, Charles Maina and his son Moses Maina in the team that will take on Ugandans in the main race, the hosts expect a tough contest.

“Kenyans haven’t left behind any good rider. They have named their best. It will certainly be an interesting race,” Arthur Blick said MX 2 Kenyan champion Cruize Muigai will lead a formidable six-man group in the category as the defending champions vie to hold on to a 431-point lead.

The visitors intend to neutralise Uganda’s strength in the 50cc and 65cc categories with an array of youngsters. The Ugandans will this morning get tip from American rider Greg Crater who arrived yesterday.

Greg will compete as a guest and later entertain spectators with free-style antics. It will be the first time Uganda to host a free style rider. Tanzania and DR Congo will also compete in the race.
