Lukaya stars to gain ITF rankings

TABLE tennis player Amina Lukaya has at last broken into the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) rankings, becoming only the second player to be ranked by the International Table Tennis Federation this season.

TABLE tennis player Amina Lukaya has at last broken into the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) rankings, becoming only the second player to be ranked by the International Table Tennis Federation this season.
Lukaya, who played until the round of 16 in last month’s 2010 ITTF – Africa Senior Table Tennis Championships, broke into the rankings after beating more than two seeded players and is now ranked 1055th with 1117 points.
She joins Kevin Mafabi, the only other Ugandan in the rankings, at 1073.
