THE absence of the Congolese duo of Toto Songe and Bana Zidane will be a great dent as Express makes a comeback in the Nile Special Super League action.

Kinyara FC will host them in Masindi. Defender Zidane, a recent acquisition from Mbarara and Toto Songe, two of the players in Express’ expensively assembled squad, are yet to report from their Christmas holiday.

“We are still waiting for them. Their absence will affect us but not so much,” club chairman Godfrey Kirumira said of the duo. Richard Malinga is also ruled out of the clash.

However, the presence of Andrew Mukasa, Hassan Mubiru and Abed Bironse will be enough to worry Kinyara, desperate for a win to avoid relegation.

Kinyara will be relying on the services of forwards Henry Mukwaya and Crispus Kasenge for results.

Nineteen-year old student-player Badru Magala will be required to find his scoring rhythm early for Game Boys to accumulate more points when they host fellow new entrants Akol FC in today’s clash.

The clash was changed from tomorrow after consultations with both clubs.

Magala, who ensured that Game Boys bagged maximum points from Police FC with his lone strike, believes that he will repeat his exploits against the visitors.

“I have confidence that my team (Game Boys) will take advantage of the home ground to collect maximum points from the match”, Magala promised.

Coach Charles Namakola maintains that a reorganised midfield manned by Ronnie Kalani, Henry Osiya, Ali Sekasamba and Elisha Odhiambo will be influential in determining the outcome of today’s match.
