Kampala Kids League select Under-13 side is set to take part in the Haarlem Cup in Holland mid this year.
KKL has made a late entry after opting out of the Northern Ireland (NI) Milk Cup, whose dates coincide with the Gothia Cup that they have to defend.
“We have sent our entry and we are waiting for a response from the organisers as soon us possible,” KKL commissioner Trevor Dudley said.
“This youth tournament comes on just after the Gothia Cup and it is ideal for us to wrap up our tour with an event like this.”
The select side that is made of youth players from the Nile academy, Friends of Football (FOF) and KKL, is set to enter two teams for the Tivoli and Gothia Cup, that they will be defending in July in Scandinavia.
The select side will this time around not travel to London for pre-tournament training, but instead pitch camp in Sweden before they travel back to Denmark for the Tivoli Cup.
The Haarlem Cup is due on July 9 to 27 in Haarlem.
The youth side made history last year when they beat various European youth sides to win the Tivoli and Gothia Cups on their first attempt.
KKL will participate in the Milk Cup next year.
