UGANDA could face a tough road in the Super Nine Confederation of Africa Rugby (CAR) championships in June.

Ronnie Kintu reports that the Super Six champions, Uganda that glittered after walloping Kenya, Cameroon and Botswana last year will take on second ranked Zimbabwe and Madagascar.

Uganda had earlier been pooled with Kenya and Botswana but the CAR competitions committee revised the pooling for the top nine competitions basing on the current International Rugby Board (IRB) pooling.

Uganda ranked sixth by IRB among the second tier African nations is pooled with Madagascar (seed 3) and Zimbabwe (seed2) in pool B.

Pool C has Namibia (seed 1), Kenya (seed 4) and Botswana (seed 5) while pool A has Tunisia, Morocco and Ivory coast.

All games must be played between June 1 and July 30 according to CAR tournament director Paul Sigombe.
