‘Work hard’
MUBENDE – Buganda Education minister John Muyingo has advised residents to work hard and fight poverty, illiteracy and disease. He was speaking during the opening of St. Zoe Day and Boarding Primary School at Kagoma. He said the culture of hard work had died, making most able-bodied people beggars.
EC warns
MUKONO – The Electoral Commission chairman, Eng. Badru Kiggundu, recently warned against violence during the ongoing LC5 campaigns. This followed repeated reports that supporters of the candidates were fighting after rallies.
