“GOODNESS, I feel great and happy. I knew I would pass but I did not imagine I would perform all that good nationally. It is God’s grace and it is like a miracle,” said Jacob Obbo of Jinja College who got 10 aggregates.

From the rear door of his maternal aunt Jane Apio’s house in Katende village in Bugembe, Obbo sighed with disbelief on hearing the news.

Apio, a teacher of Wanyange Girls secondary School in Jinja said Obbo was being educated by his grandmother, Rebecca Okwong, a pensioner.

“I feel happy and I thank God for rewarding him because he has been hardworking and disciplined,” Apio said. Jinja College deputy headteacher Kata Wafula attributed Obbo’s performance to discipline.
