MAMBO Bado, BCE Brothers and Down Town Forex Bureau, have pledged financial support to Christopher Kyembe who will compete in the Africa Motorcycle Championship in Namibia, June 7-8.

MAMBO Bado, BCE Brothers and Down Town Forex Bureau, have pledged financial support to Christopher Kyembe who will compete in the Africa Motorcycle Championship in Namibia, June 7-8.

Mambo Bado and BCE brothers promised sh0.4m and sh0.3m respectively and Down Town proprietor Dipu Ruparelia will top
up.

Kyembe needs to purchase protective gear and fine tune his Kawasaki 125cc ahead of the continental race.

“With this package, I will be a serious competitor,” said Kyembe who was dogged by mechanical problems in last year’s Africa championship in Nairobi, Kenya.

Federation of Motor sport Clubs of Uganda (FMU) will cater for travel expenses for the five-man team.
National champion Abed Lubambula, Arthur Blick, David Kizza and Bazza Kassim are also on the team.

FMU vice president technical (in charge of motorcycling) Kisitu Mayanja will lead the delegation.
