THE Club Pilsner ten pin-bowling league that entered the fifth week at the Alleygators alley at Garden City over the weekend is in its crucial stage, reports Phillip Corry.
“The league has reached a crucial stage and any slips at the top can cost M and M their run to the title,” a league official said. “This league is like the world cup and everybody wants to win.”
MTN strikers who have 58 points are closely trailing Muyindi and Muzungu’s who lead the table with 68 points. They have won 24 of the 30 games so far played. Deceptions are third with 56 points from 18 wins out the same number of games played.
With three more weeks of play to go, the league leadership is up for grabs among the top three teams.
