NEVER did I think of making business by turning to God, nor did I intend to fly out of the country to join one of the wealthiest and most famous world preachers like Joyce Meyer,” Roger Mugisha —formerly ‘The Shadow’ manager of the defunct all girl dance troupe, Shadow’s Angels — said.

NEVER did I think of making business by turning to God, nor did I intend to fly out of the country to join one of the wealthiest and most famous world preachers like Joyce Meyer,” Roger Mugisha — formerly ‘The Shadow,’ manager of the defunct all girl dance troupe, Shadow’s Angels — said.

The popular radio presenter, along with some of his former troupe was giving his testimony (left) to hundreds of Christians residing in Entebbe thereby dismissing rumours circulating around town ever since he surrendered his life to the Lord in February 2003 that he got saved for money.

“People are talking a lot of nonsense: That by becoming a born again I was targeting business in God’s Church. I will not slide back as they allege,” he said.

“I served Satan for 10 years since 1993. I could enter all nightclubs free of charge country-wide including Vogue, Silk and Ange Noir, but I can now afford to miss all that,” he said.

“At the time God knocked on my door I left many contracts where I was supposed to put up shows ranging from sh0.5m to sh1m. I had to leave all this and join the creator,” Mugisha, who was hosted along with his decently-clad girls by Entebbe Miracle Centre’s Pastor Aaron Mutebi, bragged.

Mugisha did not stop at narrating his story, but also explained further how Satan kept pestering him to sleep with a serpent in order to get him a job before joining Sanyu FM. Mugisha says he refused to sleep with the serpent.

He said the devils had also asked him to immediately surrender the head of the baby he was expecting from his girlfriend, Sharon Mazowe. “It was horrible and I rejected it,” he testified.

Mazowe gave birth a couple of weeks ago. After quitting Sanyu for Capital Radio, Mugisha says the devil told him to go to London to buy outfits worth sh10m for the angels.
