EC postpones women’s polls

KAMPALA — The Electoral Commission has postponed elections of women committees and extended the registration period of all women of 18 years and above to May 7. A statement signed by the commission’s vice-chairperson Sister Margaret Magoba said the registration period had been extended to enable all women who had not registered to do so.
