A TOTAL of 2,648 teachers joined the education fraternity when they were awarded education diplomas of the Institute of Teacher Education Kyambogo (ITEK) at Nkozi National Teachers College on Friday.

Professor Lutalo Bbosa, the chancellor of Kyambogo University, presided over the colourful ceremony at Nkozi, Mitala Maria in Mpigi district.
