ARUA — The district council and the chief administrative officer (CAO), Abdul Isodo, have reconciled after the CAO defended himself before the council on 23 allegations including incompetence, abuse of office and corruption.
Woman killed
GULU — A woman from Pabbo internally displaced persons camp only identified as Esther, was allegedly shot dead by UPDF soldiers on Thursday night. She reportedly left the camp premises at night for a bushy area to collect white ants.

State Lodge
Moroto — Construction of the State Lodge at Morulinga is to be completed by July, the site engineer, Sula Kajoba, said recently. Kajoba of Zzimwe Construction Company, said the main house had reached roofing level and fitting the tiles would begin soon.
