Kira subcounty praised on health

SIR— As secretary for health in Kira sub-county, I wish to commend the good work done by the following members of the Kira Subcounty Community Health Organisation (KISCHO).
SIR— As secretary for health in Kira sub-county, I wish to commend the good work done by the following members of the Kira Subcounty Community Health Organisation (KISCHO).
The Chairman, Mr Herbert Mukasa, for his good leadership and respect for the local leaders and members of his KISCHO. Ms Kimberly Collins, a USA national, for leaving her country to come and work with us in Uganda.
Kimberly’s intelligent and humble approach to many issues has enabled our community to succeed in many health matters like
l Provision of free mosquito nets to 50 needy homes
l Many rounds of sensitisation against malaria, TB, cholera, HIV/AIDS, etc through public rallies, council meetings, drama and home visitation programmes.
l HIV tests which we had not previously had in our community have been done. All KISCHO members have done well.
