Celtel Uganda, the country’s pioneer mobile phone operator, on Monday unveiled its new national image campaign titled ‘New Look and Feel’

Celtel Uganda, the country’s pioneer mobile phone operator, on Monday unveiled its new national image campaign titled ‘New Look and Feel’ reports Andrew Kanyegirire.

Speaking at the launch of their new campaign, which was held at Speke Resort Munyonyo, Johanna Korpia the Celtel commercial director, said the new campaign is an indication of Celtel’s commitment towards improving the quality and attractiveness of its services to its customers.

“Celtel’s extended coverage countrywide, improved distribution network, new offerings such as SMS services, excellent customer services and constantly expanding roaming facilities give you more, with Celtel there is always more for you,” she said.

As Celtel customers and retailers, may have noticed, the ‘New Look and Feel’ campaign has also led the telecom operator to move away from its original blue corporate color to a bright orange.

“Orange is outstanding, it is brighter and it is happy”, said Lars Andersen, the Celtel managing director said.

A presentation of Celtel’s new image campaign across the different media including billboard, was also unleashed during the launch. Andersen said the new look is also a result of market research.
