MPIGI District Resource Mobilisation for Sustainable Livelihood Association (REMOSUL) has asked the Uganda National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UNCCI) president Olive Kigongo to help them market their products.
These include passion fruits, tomatoes, goats and poultry products.
The delegation led by Mpigi RDC Martha Asimwe also asked the UNCCI to help them get a loan to set up a cottage industries for processing hot pepper, tomatoes and pork.
Mrs. Olive Kigongo, UNNCI president told them last week, that they must go into large scale production and deliver quality products.
“Markets are available, but how to get there is what we should concentrate on right now. For example there is a huge market for organically dried fruits in the US, but the market is huge and needs large quantities,†she said.
