GANGSTERS robbed two mini-buses in two separate incidents in the city on Tuesday.
The first incident took place at Bunamwaya on the Entebbe Road when five thugs with a metallic tool pounced on the driver of an Entebbe-bound Toyota Hiace registration number UAE 347Q at about 8:00pm.
Following the incident, the driver of the mini-bus, Bugembe Andrew, was arrested and detained at the Central Police Station (CPS) on suspicion that he could have had a hand in the robbery after he reported the matter 11:00pm, three hours after the incident.
In the second incident, four armed thugs robbed the crew of a city bound mini bus at Namamve, on the Jinja road and then vanished in it. The thugs boarded the mini bus posing as passengers.
