A total of 19 people including secondary school students have been arrested in an operation to crack down on idlers in Jinja town.

A total of 19 people including secondary school students have been arrested in an operation to crack down on idlers in Jinja town.
The exercise, mounted by a joint effort between the Jinja Police and the municipal council operatives, was carried out between 5:00pm and 6.30pm on Tuesday last week.
Those arrested were picked from mainly tourist centres like the Jinja-Nalufenya railway bridge, golf course and the Source of the Nile.
